Nice to meet you!
My name is Sarah Danforth and I will be teaching one of the 2nd grade classes at Jefferson Elementary School this year! I look forward to getting to know all of you and your kids as we move into the exciting world of second grade education. My philosophy is to make learning as fun and accessible as possible. My lessons are customized to different learning styles and different language acquisition levels. We have a lot of discussions and make a lot of real-world connections in our classroom. In order to keep them fully engaged, your kids are active participants in the selection of their curriculum, and the management of the room.
Here's a little about me...
I am available to speak with students and/or parents after school, via phone or email. Happy to be here!
